Current/Past Projects
SVPOA Community Center is available for community functions, as well as for social functions. SVPOA membership meetings are held here once a year to update residents on information affecting our area, as well as to hear concerns of residents. Please contact Linda Stinar to reserve the community center for your event. New street signs have been installed and new matching signs are being ordered for the street names that have been changed. Improved road signs have been installed throughout the valley to control speeding on subdivision roads and improve safety. ATV Safety Rule signs have also been installed to educate visitors & residents to safe and fun use of our trails. Bulletin boards are located at the corner by the dumpsters, as well as outside our community center where important information is posted. A map of the subdivision is there to give directions. Dust control substances have been applied by Kane County and the Cedar Mountain Fire Protection District, to the subdivisions to help mitigate dust. Our Board of Directors works with the Forest Service, Kane County Commissioners, Cedar Mountain Fire Protection District, Cedar Mountain Community Coalition as well as other public agencies to ensure concerns of our property owners are heard and addressed. Trash removal is available year round for household trash only by the Kane County Special Service District. A large roll-off dumpster is provided for large items on holiday weekends. Please be sure household trash is placed INSIDE the dumpsters. Construction materials or large items must be taken to the dump in Orderville (off Highway 89). Slash cleanup items cannot be placed in the dumpsters but can be taken to the Burn Pit located by the fire station on Mammoth Creek Road and the 14. (No tree stumps!) Highway trash pickup is organized through the association to help keep our valley clean. Contact Paul Maalouf at strawberryvalleypoa@gmail.com for more information. SVPOA Newsletter is sent out annually to all property owners with information pertinent to property owners. We also maintain a website www.strawberryvalleyPOA.com where we post information of interest to our residents, as well as links to other websites to keep our residents informed on meetings of interest, road & fire conditions. Do you have ideas for items to be included in the newsletter or on the website?Contact Paul Maalouf at: strawberryvalleypoa@gmail.com |
